 WAMITAB QCF/NVQ Centre

Leppitt Associates have been an approved WAMITAB NVQ/QCF training centre for eight years during which time over 320 candidates/learners have been registered for at least one award, with most undertaking two. Candidates are drawn from the public and private sectors and have included personnel from: NHS, Plymouth City Council, Cornwall Council, South Hams District Council, Cardiff Council; Viridor, Hills Waste, Shanks, South West Water and a large number of small waste businesses in the south west. 

The centre can provide training in 
Level 1-4 Landfill, Treatment, Transfer, Collection and Recycling.

As well as the Risk Tier Awards ( Risk Tiers) in compliance with the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2010. On the 01.04.2011 the QCF award structure replaced the NVQ Awards. CoTC/NVQ - QCF Replacements

CONTINUING COMPETENCE TRAINING

The centre can also offer bespoke training for those wishing to undertake their WAMITAB Continuing Competence test, which is required by existing holders of a CoTC who achieved their CoTC on or before 22 December 2008 - see the following link for further details: WAMITAB Continuing Competence

Depending on the number of tests to be taken and the previous experience of the candidate training normally takes from between 5 and 7 hours and can accommodate groups of up to three persons.
